Lightroom Beta Program

Hello Everyone,
I wanted to make a personal statement of Thanks to Shawn King for the open invitation to members to try the Lightroom 2 Beta program. I hope that we as a group can help in this program with informational feedback to Adobe to make this even better than the previous version. Again Thanks Shawn! Sincerely, Tom Lochner

I didn't use LR 1 so can't compare here but I have seen some online reviews which look very favorably on the new version. I have been using it since it was made available here and I am hooked. When final is ready, I'm getting out the credit card.

I still need to check out some tutorials to get the most out of the new program and I am really looking forward to that.

Permalink Reply by Aaron Bellette on May 11, 2008 at 7:54pm: I bought Aperture 2 instead - I did find LR good to use but preferred the aesthetic and workflow of Aperture, especially now the price is halved and plug-ins are supported. I'm a bit of a "fruit-company fanboy" so I found the Aperture/iPhoto/iLife integration an excellent feature. I must say I'm not a fan of how companies like Microsoft and Adobe spread their files all over your hard drive.
